Picture This! Writing Paper for Spelling

This series of 20 different hand-illustrated sheets offers a short break from standard lined/ruled paper by allowing the student to creatively place spelling words inside a colorful picture on test day or any day. Wouldn’t it be fun to write a spelling word on a wave of the ocean, the back of a turtle, or the bowl of an ice cream sundae? You bet! Please feel free to make copies for your family or class!
Color has been used sparingly to help save printer ink! If you do not have a printer, you can email this document (or take the file itself) to your local office supply store and have it printed.
Each illustration is designed to creatively fit 20 spelling words, but any number can be spread around or added.
These sheets can be used for any age and with any curriculum. Younger students may also enjoy coloring the page. You could also choose a sheet and have the student write as many adjectives as they can think of for the picture. Be creative!
